In 2011, the Better Business Bureau's online complaint processing system was redesigned to streamline the process of filing complaints. The previous process had lacked context regarding a users progress and used a very difficult business search to aid users in selecting a business to complain about. The redesigned process incorporated a simplified complaint flow, with a visual progress tracking bar to help ensure users completed their complaints. The business search and selection tool was completely rethought, utilizing changes first introduced in the BBB's main business search application that was released earlier in the year. The new system makes filing a complaint with BBB the easiest it's ever been.
